We provide assistance across a wide range of technical areas supporting solicitors and others, either formally or informally. We can help either in respect of specific aspects of a case or comment on quantum overall. Teceris reports are Civil Procedure Rules compliant, suitable for disclosure through to providing expert evidence in court as required.

We provide input and opinion that will stand up to scrutiny in court. Our focus is on supporting resolution, not extension, of disputes. We adopt a practical, professional approach based on maturity and experience of working in professions and industry rather than just theory. This approach is underpinned by peer review of cases.

We are pragmatic and flexible offering the following:-

• Initial Advice. Based on the immediate evidence we collect, we will issue an opinion to allow the overall strategy to be developed.

• We provide either Interim or Final Reports for disclosure, setting out the scope of evidence considered and allowing appropriate discussion on those intermediate findings.

• We are experienced in attending informal meetings/mediations and in discussing the issues face-to-face with other experts with a view to producing joint reports on areas of agreement/disagreement. We distil the financial implications of any area of disagreement into a concise summary of the concept at issue to allow others to form a view and to see instantly the impact it will have.

Damian Glynn BA(Hons) FCA FCILA FUEDI ELAE

Damian Glynn is Head of Financial Risks and has been providing litigation support services for over a decade. His experience includes loss of profit claims, brokers’ negligence cases, accountants’ negligence cases and contractual disputes. Damian is a published author in respect of business interruption issues, a past examiner of business interruption examinations and conducts workshops and seminars regularly throughout the UK.

Adrian Cartwright-Bain FCA FCILA FUEDI ELAE FIFAA

 Adrian’s role has a primary focus on the provision of specialist services for business interruption and financial lines risks. Managing Partner of Teceris, he also has responsibility for the financial performance of the business. Adrian is the nominated account director for several blue chip corporate clients and has handled major business interruption claims for over 13 years in a wide range of business sectors, including manufacturing, petro-chemical, retail, hotel and leisure. He was responsible for successfully handling the business interruption aspects of a loss at a steelworks in South Wales – one of the largest losses in the UK for more than a decade. Prior to becoming a Loss Adjuster, Adrian worked as an accountant specialising in forensic work.

John Armstrong BSc(Hons) MRICS FCILA FUEDI ELAE

John has developed a national reputation in the area of historic buildings and managed claims for The National Trust for more than a decade. He has been involved in high profile flood and theft losses and also specialises in ecclesiastical buildings, having dealt with major fires at Coventry and Peterborough Cathedrals. John regularly provides strategic and technical advice in the handling of major losses for the benefit of adjusters, insurers and brokers.

Phil Heron, FCII FCILA FIFAA FUEDI ELAE MCIArb

Phil is a Partner in the business and has over 30 years’ experience as a loss adjuster. He has particular expertise in food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, and logistics and distribution sectors. Phil is focused on exploring the synergies between major loss handling, business continuity planning and business recovery.
